American South Lumber started as a seedling of a dream. How do we share God’s glory with the world? Our deep love of this land, and the unique culture that has sprung up around it, is generations deep. After many years of consideration; we decided to take the leap in 2018 and start our family business. Relying on the unique skillsets of each one of us we knew that, together, we could create a legacy. Our rich relationships, our deep love of American hardwoods, and our strong values of: honesty, hard work, and our deep faith; influence every decision that we make.

Rich Leipzig
After a long and successful career of running multi-million dollar sales organizations in the home improvement space. Rich decided to pursue his first passion; trees. Acting as President of Operations over the U.S. division; Rich’s natural leadership abilities and his operational excellence sets the standard for American South Lumber’s culture.
Andrew Leipzig
A professional pilot by trade. Andrew lends his creative vision and international contacts to American South Lumber. He’s no stranger to foreign lands. Friends are never far from Andrew. Acting as our President of Exports; Andrew’s good nature and strong work ethic allowed for us to become an international company.
Jeff Anderson
Jeff Anderson, our VP of International Business. With a career spanning over a decade, Jeff has cultivated lasting relationships in over 30 countries, showcasing his ability to adapt and excel in diverse cultural landscapes. Beyond his professional achievements, Jeff is a devoted family man, balancing his rigorous work life with the warmth and grounding of family values.
Steven Leipzig
A lifelong entrepreneur. Steven’s wisdom and insight lend themselves to being our visionary. Acting as our President while also serving as our Chair of the board. After successfully starting 4 companies in his early 20’s, Steven decided to lend his talents to bringing the dream of a family business to life.
